Excitement was at a peak when around 50 of our NetSetGO players had the opportunity to train at the ARC on Friday 4 March 2022. The occasion was a visit by Melinda Clarke, Open Team Head Coach for the Sapphires and two of their Open players, Latika Tombs and Jemma Donoghue who spent 90 minutes taking the girls through warm-up and skill development activities in a fun way. Given the number of attendees, it was an amazing feat by these special guests. It was not only the girls who benefitted but also the parents and coaches looking on who picked up plenty of tips … obviously for netball but also for crowd control!!A special thank you to Peninsula’s NetSetGO Convenor, Amanda Drain who set it up on the day and ensured its success. Well done everyone!!
